Ugandan women, although vital in peacebuilding, are often unrecognized. Our Women-Led Movement for Peaceful Elections aims to change that by responding to the urgent need to scale up women’s peace efforts.

This week, we are introducing the WSR mechanism to four lead partners from Arua, Jinja, Hoima and Moroto, and presenting the goals of the movement. This movement goes beyond elections, to embed a culture of peace in families, communities, and national life.
